Remembrance

On June 23, 2026, Mike Hussie passed away. He died in the home he shared with his beloved wife of 71 years, Sandra Hussie. Mike passed away after this book was written but before it was published. I decided, with the agreement of Mike's family, to keep the book as originally written while adding this at the beginning. In a way, Legacy of Love is a living memorial to Mike's life and his marriage to Sandra.

Mike will live forever in the hearts and souls of his family, friends, fellow Christians, and the many hundreds of students whom he taught, befriended and mentored. Mike lived a rich life, full of love, laughter, friendship, fun and adventure. I'm sorry he didn't live to see the published version of this book. However, Dave Tuthill, my friend and Mike and Sandra's nephew, read it to them just a few months before Mike passed away. Dave told me they both enjoyed it greatly.

Legacy of Love is dedicated to the memory of Mike Hussie - husband, father, brother, uncle, teacher, friend and mentor.
