HENRY TUTHILL

Birth Place: June 28, 1612, Tharston County, Norfolk, England. Parents: Henry 1580 and Alice Gooch; died circa 1650, age 38, Southhold, Long Island, NY. Remarks: 1637 had lot in Hingham, Mass., but not known when he came over; sold lot June 1644 and went to Southold where brother John had been for some years; married Bridget and Bridget married a second time to Wm. (Wells) and died soon. Children: 1 John, June 16, 1635. 2. Elizabeth, circa 1637. 3. Nathaniel, circa 1649. 4. Daniel, August 30, 1640, Hingham, Mass. 5. Sarah, circa 1642. 6. Ann circa 1648-49. 7. Mary circa 1649.

JOHN TUTHILL

Birth Place: July 16, 1635 - died October 12, 1717, Oysterponds, LI. Parents: Henry 1612, (s). Remarks: Married (1) February 17, 1657, Southold, Long Island, Deliverance, birth place August 31, 1614, Salem, Mass., died January 25, 1689, Oysterponds, daughter of William and Dorothy Hayne King. Married second time May 28, 1690, Southold, to Sarah, born September 3, 1635, died November 8, 1728, Southold, daughter of John and Mercy (Paine) Frost and widow of Thos. Youngs. Children: 1, John, Feb. 14, 1658. 2, Elizabeth, Jan. 19, 1661. 3, Henry, May 1, 1665. 4, Hannah, November 7, 1667. 5. Abigail, October 17, 1670. 6 and 7 died. 8. Daniel, January 23, 1680. 9. Nathaniel, November 10, 1683. 10 died.

HENRY TUTHILL

Birth place: May 1, 1665, Southold, Long Island, died January 4, 1750, Oysterponds, Long Island. Parents: John, July 16, 1636. Remarks: Will, September 28, 1749, proved January 25, 1750, sons Henry and Barnabas, grandsons Henry and John, daughter Bethia, wife of Samuel Landon, grandson, daughter of Deliverance Paine, Bethia, daughter of son, Jonathan and Zipparah daughter of son Henry. Married Bethia circa 1674, Southold, died March 14, 1744, Oysterponds, daughter of Jonathan and Bethia (Wells) Horton. Children: 1 Henry, circa 1690. 2. Jonathan circa 1692. 3. Nathaniel, circa 1694. 4. Barnabas, 1698. 5. Bethia, December 12, 1703.

NATHANIEL TUTHILL

Born: Circa 1694, Oysterponds, Long Island. Died, drowned at sea, April 27, 1727. Parents: Henry 1665. Remarks: Married October 30, 1721, Mary, May 7, 1697, same location, daughter of John and Mary (Chatfield) Petty. Mary married a second time, April 1739 to Jonathan Weeks. Children: 1. John circa 1722. 2. Deliverance circa 1724.
